Obituary

Frey-Betty Lou D. of Alden, NY October 24, 2017.  Dear mother of Beth (Paul) Quenzler, William (Bonnie), James, Michael (Dawn),  Kenneth (Cheryl) and the late Dorothy Louise Frey;  also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister of Glenna Hake and the late late Carolyn Erico and Penny Miller.  Funeral Services will be held at the Town Line Lutheran Church Alden, NY Friday at 10 AM.  Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.    Betty Lou started the Alden group of the Red Hat Ladies and was Queen Mum.  She was long time painter of porcelain dolls and china, Cub Scout leader of Pack 160, was on Bishops Committee and active in Christmas plays at St. John's Church, was an active member of the Democratic Comm., member of a local prayer group and while residing on Broadway her home was the hub of neighborhood children with a player piano, pond swimming in the summer and skating in the winter.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Global Outreach Missions, 16 Hopkins Rd., Getzville, NY  14068.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
