Erny- David J. of Alden, NY passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2025.  Dear father of Jeremy (Julie) Erny and Jamie Allen; loving grandfather of Christian, Devin, Zachary, Benjamin and Madeline; beloved son of Jean and the late Harvey Erny; brother of Nancy (Wally) Zamoyski and the late Barbara (Kevin) Newman; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.  Funeral Services will be held at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Tuesday, June 10th at 10 AM.  Family will be present to receive friends Monday, June 9th from 3-7 PM.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  David was a long time drag racer and the "biggest fan" for all his grandchildren.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
