Zakrzewski-Derek A. of Lancaster, NY passed away after a tragic event on February 11, 2023.  Loving husband of Ashley (Rieser) Zakrzewski; dear father of Zenon, Ezekiel and unborn baby boy Zakrzewski; son of Peter and Janice (Creighton) Zakrzewski; brother of Jessica (Brandon) Morehouse and Laura (Benjamin) Martin; son-in-law of Dawn (Pope) Rieser and Randy (Carrie) Rieser; grandson of Ruth and the late James Creighton; brother-in-law of Tiffany (Andrew) Vogt and Corey Rieser; grandson-in-law of Dolores and Edward Mau; also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Family will be present to receive friends at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Sunday, February 19th from 12-3 and 6-8 PM.  Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 67 Litchfield Ave. Depew, NY Monday, February 20th at 11 AM.  All are invited.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 468, C/O Shawn Creighton, 81 Alberta Dr., Lancaster, NY 14086.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
