Kruger-Donald E. of Alden, NY went to his final home on May 8, 2020 at the age of 82.  Beloved husband of 62 years to Joan (nee Peterson) Kruger; dear father of Susan (Jim) Glor, Sally (Tony) Florane, Catherine (Joe) MacConnell and Diane (Neil) Winans; grandfather of Thomas, Tim, Theresa, Jill Berry, Kristie, Katie (Jeremy) Florane, Tricia (Mark), Jacob (Radostina), Robert MacConnell and Joshua and Austin Winans; also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; brother of Karen (Robert) Zielen.  A graveside service will be held at St. John's Cemetery Alden, NY at a later date.  Donald retired from Verizon after 36 years in 1994.  He was a member of Sweet Home (Eggertsville) Masonic Lodge #948 for over 60 years and an Honorary Member of Wentworth Lodge #166 Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Oishei Children's Hospital.  Arrangements by the Charles Meyer Funeral Home.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
