Kendall-Douglas Arthur, 76, of Darien Center, NY, passed away on December 3, 2022. Doug was born on July 24, 1946, to Arthur and Elaine (Tesnow) Kendall of Alexander, NY. He was a graduate of Alexander High School, Genesee Community College, and the University of Buffalo. Doug served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. Doug's career in banking and accounting spanned multiple decades, and he was a manager for his parents' restaurant, Twilight Meadows. Doug was a member and past president of both the Attica and Batavia Lions Clubs, a member of the Attica American Legion, and the Darien and Corfu Seniors. Doug will be forever remembered for the love he had for his family, being an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan, a skilled card player, and having a great sense of humor. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas, and his daughter, Shawn. He is survived by his sisters, Diane (James) Torre, and Kristine (Gary) Moser. Doug will be greatly missed by his loving wife of fifty years, Bonnie (Buckenmeyer) Kendall, his children, Matthew (Heidi) Kendall, Shannon (Neil) Hukriede, John (Gretchen) Kendall, Erik (Melanie) Kendall, Patrick Kendall, Heidi (Scott) Chase, and fifteen grandchildren (Brendon, Meghan, Kendall, Claire, Emma, Logan, Alexander, Isabelle, Sarah, Charles, Mildred, Maxwell, Colt, Ryan, and Jacob). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on December 12, 2022, at Our Lady of Good Council in Darien Center, NY.
