Beloved husband of the late Rita Steger; dear father of Mark (Melanie) Steger, James Steger and Nancy (Jeff) Wuest; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. No prior visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, Darien Center, NY Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery. Mr. Steger was the former owner of the Broken Prop Restaurant in Darien, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the NYS Veterans Home, Batavia, NY.
