Obituary

Georgiann "Georgie" Bowser, born May 3, 1945, in Oregon, lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for both people and the natural world.

On December 28, 1998, she married her beloved late husband, Walter Bowser. Together, they shared a passion for the outdoors, spending countless days backpacking, skiing, and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Their adventures reflected their spirit, curious, active, and full of appreciation for life's simple wonders.

Georgie devoted many years to education as a teacher, with a special passion for theater and drama instruction. She inspired creativity, confidence, and self-expression in her students, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from her.

Known for her warm heart and generous nature, Georgie touched the lives of many. She and Walter found great joy in spending time with their close friends and also the companionship of their beloved Scottish Terriers, especially Duffy, who was a cherished member of the family.

Above all, Georgie took immense pride in her loved ones.  She is survived by Eileen and her husband, Michael Grant, whom she loved as her own. She deeply loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them and celebrating their lives with joy and devotion.

Georgie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her love of teaching, her adventurous soul, and the kindness she so freely shared with others.
