Foss-James N. of Alden, N.Y. passed away on August 6, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of Myrna (nee Muchow) Foss; dear father of Jeffrey (Karla), Craig (Maria), Keith, Kelly (Rob) Miller, and Cindy (Drew) Sheldrake; oldest son of the late Norman and Anna Foss of Cowlesville; Jim is survived by his brothers John (Mary) and Arthur (Ann) and his sister Suzanne (late Cal) Doucette. He was the proud grandfather of James, Anne, Amanda (Phil) Broniszewski, Amie, Charlie, Laney,  KC (Dusty) Williams, Stevie, Leah, Nick ( Larissa), Joe (Violeta), Morgan, Katie (Justin) Myers, Megan (Isaac) Pelletier, Shannon, Lauren (Ethan) Dupin, Kylie and Caden; great-grandfather of Shianne, Mia, Levi, Riley, Isla, Silas, and Renley. Jim was the owner of Foss Livestock, a fourth generation Alden Business now in the hands of his sons and grandson Nick. No prior Visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Bennington Lanes 1374 Clinton St. at 4:00 P.M. Friends invited. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
