Schreiber-James M. of Java Lake, NY January 18, 2022.  Beloved husband of Shea (Eastland) Schreiber; loving father of Chelsey (Jeremy) Haudricourt, Alyssa (Zac) Mullen and the late Melissa Marie Schreiber; brother of Diane (late Dave) Mosier, Karlene (late Dick) Michael; son of the late Karl Schreiber and Marie (late Darwin) Anstett; son-in-law of Joyce  and the late Kenneth Eastland; brother-in-law of Shawn (Kris) Eastland, Porky (Roine) Cardinal, Doug Cardinal, Tim (Jessie) Cardinal, Jim Cardinal and Allen "John" Cardinal; also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Sunday 11-2 PM where a Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM.   A gathering of friends and family will take place immediately following at the Whistle Stop Inn, Alden, NY.  James was an avid hunter, fisherman, boater, snowmobiler and dog owner.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your local Fire Dept. or Veterans Club-he had great respect for these men and women and the job they do.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
