Joan Barber passed away at home on Saturday, February 6th with her family at her side. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Norma Snyder. Joan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald and daughter Jessica and the late Shannon whom passed away in 2003.
Joan worked at Scott Aviation, and was a bartender/waitress at the Whistle Stop Bar, the former Alden Bar and Grill, the Alden Lanes and Chrissy K's. Joan and Ron owned and operated her pride and joy, Joanie's Chat Chew in Millgrove, NY up until her stroke 8 years ago.
