Latella-John V. of Alden, NY formerly of Depew, NY passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2017 at his home after having a beautiful day. Beloved husband of Linda Latella; dear father of John D. (Denise) and Julie Latella; step-father of Kristen (Paul) Brenon and Jaclyn (Tony) Castronova; grandfather of Gianni and Giovanna Latella and Adelyn and Juliette Brenon; brother of James (Jan), Daniel (Dolly), Mary Beth and Joe (Karen) Latella; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at Ripa's Rest., 4218 Walden Ave., Lancaster, NY Friday at 11 AM. Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Thursday 12-3 and 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wings Flights of Hope.
