Maples-Leo of Darien Center, NY passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 11, 2017 under Hospice Care. Beloved husband of 43 years to Barbara (Maute) Maples; father of Cheryl Ruck, Robert and Julie Maples; step-father of Janet (Todd) Enright; grandfather of five granddaughters, two step-granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and two great-grandsons; brother of Annette (late Herb) Wolf, Elaine (George) Brown and the late Kathleen (late Bruce) Harmon; brother-in-law of Phyllis (late Donald) Meides, Dona (Henry) Eisel and Roberta (Daniel) Janis; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Tuesday 3-7 PM. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
