Tucker-Lynda K. of Alden, NY went home to her Lord in Heaven on October 2, 2023.  Born September 3, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Maude Williams; she is survived by her longtime friend Paul Kowalski; dear mother of Melynda (Charles) Crutts of Simpsonville, SC, Melynie Tucker of Buffalo, NY and Russell Tucker of Akron, NY; loving grandmother of Jason, Keith and David Crutts and Ryan Hoffman.  Family will be present at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Friday from 3-7 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM., followed by a graveside service at Freedom Rural Cemetey, Freedom, NY.  Lynda was a member of Millgrove Bible Church where she served many years as church clerk and missions committee chairperson; Trustee and Editor of the Grannytown Gazette at the Alden Historical Society; Chairperson, historian, past editor of Salem Notes, and former secretary/treasurer for many years at the Salem Cemetery Society.
