Eason-Mary E. of Alden, NY (nee Krieb) January 31, 2021.  Beloved wife of the late Douglas L. Eason; dear mother of Cynthia (Paul) Franclemont-Griffin, Douglas (Sandy) Eason, Daniel Eason, Michael (Maureen) Eason, Peter Eason and Jackie (Paul) Jurek; loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren with 2 more to follow; Mary is also a special Connect Life organ donation grandma and great-grandma;  sister of Gloria (Robert) Olsen, Teresa (Doug) Becker, Gerald Krieb, James (Dee) Krieb and Laura (Michael) Krieb-Atwell; sister-in-law of Geraldine (Donald) Mrugalski; also survived by nieces and nephews; predeceased by parents Howard and Lorraine Krieb and granddaughter Cassandra Blair.  Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Thursday 2-6 pm with a prayer service and an opportunity for family and friends to share memories following at 6 pm.  If attending please be mindful that face coverings and social distancing will be required.  A Celebration of Life picnic will be held at a later date.  Mary was retired from Fisher Price after 33 years and was a familiar face on Friday nights at the Whistle Stop Inn working along side her sister and family.  However, Mary's big family was her greatest accomplishment of which she was so proud.  Time spent with her family was her greatest treasure.  Her sleepovers at Russell's with her sisters, the family tea party, our bi-annual garage sales, picnics at her house which included a fun game of "Mary Themed" Jeopardy questions, cheering on her grandchildren at their many sporting events and other accomplishments.  She also enjoyed her weekly luncheons with her good friends Joy, Bonnie, Diana and Marcia.  She was a member of the Alden Garden Club and Alden Seniors.  She enjoyed their trips and the many friends she had there.  Gambling was a big part of her and "Gosh Darn It" she was lucky.  Bingo, lottery, basket raffles and football pools were her top favorites.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
