(nee Kania) Herdzik; dear father of Matthew (Barbara) Herdzik, Jr. and Joseph (Elizabeth) Herdzik; grandfather of Michael (Jody), Karla, Katherine and Margaret (Justin) Ieraci; great-grandfather of Anna, Michael Jr., Philip, AvaMae and Daniel; son of the late John and Bertha Herdzik; son-in-law of the late Casimer and Josephine Kania; brother of Elaine (James) Jabcuga; predeceased by siblings Edward (late Tillie), Bertha (late Mike) Pontikos, Chester (late Irene), Florence (late Sal) Gerace, Arthur (late Lottie), Mickey Leonard, Annie (late James) Hewitt, Helen (Norbert) Wicher, Mary and Mikey Herdzik; brother-in-law of Francis (late Margaret) Kania, Annette (John) Battaglia and the late Edward (late Dorene) Kania and the late Casimer (late Marjorie) Kania; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church, Alden, NY Saturday at 11 AM. (please assemble at church).  The family of Matthew B.
