Rung-Michael James of the Villages, Florida formerly of Alden, NY passed away June 16, 2022.  Beloved husband of Shirley (nee Mandel) Rung and the late Frances "Schatze" Rung; dear father of James M. (Patti) Rung and Michael A. (Barbara) Rung; cherished grandfather of Joseph Rung, Sarah (Christopher) Matteson, Michael E. Rung, Cody Rung and the late Samantha Rung; loving brother of Daniel (Connie) Rung, Janice (William) Smith and the late John Rung; cousin of Pat Pike; son of the late James M. and Mary Ellen Rung; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family will be present at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Friday, August 19th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church Alden, NY Saturday, August 20th at 10 AM.   Arrangements by the Charles Meyer Funeral Home.  Share our condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
