Obituary

MacKenzie-Norman D. of Alden, NY May 9, 2022.  Beloved husband of Lorraine "Lori" (Hojnicki) MacKenzie; dear father of Keith, Adam, Joy Chontosh, Holly (Ryan) and Emily (Jared); loving grandfather to 7 grandchildren; brother of Robert (Mary) and Alan (Beverly) MacKenzie; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Family will be present to receive friends at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY Monday, May 16th from 3-7 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church Alden, NY Tuesday, May 17th at 11 AM (please assemble at church).

Norm leaves an amazing legacy between his work career and his passion for music.  Norm accomplished much in his 35 year span with Enidine Inc. and his positions grew as the company expanded, from Engineering to International Sales and marketing.

He will be remembered for his Bass and vocal abilities.  Kenny Gunn & the Pistols (who went on to play on the Ryman Theater Stage after representing NYS in a Wrangle Star search Contest in the early 80's).  He appeared in the original cast of ACT'S the musical and the band "Yesterday" to name a few.

He is being remembered by friends far and wide and expressing what a great guy he was. "I couldn't be more broken hearted"...Lori MacKenzie.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's School or Hospice Buffalo Inc.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
