Robert Charles Hy was born 5/19/1942 and passed away on 10/9/21 at the age of 79.  He is the son of Charles and May Buchanan Hy.  Raised in Tonawanda, NY, Robert resided in Highland Glens Alden, NY and Punta Gorda, Fl with his loving partner Leah Amey.  Robert Graduated from Tonawanda High School and then served with the U.S.Army 1st BN 87th Infantry.  He worked for and retired from General Motors Engine Plant Tonawanda, NY.  He was a passionate member of the Patriot Guard Riders, Western NY Chapter and enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycling.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, his brother Victor and wives MaryEllen Adams Hy and Nora Detwiler Hy.  Survivors include his Son Timothy and his wife Gail. Grandchildren include his Grandson Sean and his wife Chelsea and their children Louie and Oliver along with granddaughters Sarah Hy and Samantha Hy and her son Karsyn.  No prior visitation.  Services will be held at a later date.
