Schnitzer-Robert E., Sr. of Alden, NY passed away July 7, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Agnes Schnitzer; loving father of Robert Jr. (Judi), Debbie (Ken) Huber, Lori (Joseph) Thering, Jeff (Kim) and the late John Schnitzer; grandfather of Jessica, Jackie (Tim), Robbie, Vicki, Derek, Samantha, Amanda (Tyler), Kevin, Megan, Steven, Jacob, Tyler and Emily; great-grandfather of Landon, Logan, Lilyanna, Harley and Haven.  Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Friday from 4-7 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bennington, NY Saturday at 10 AM (please assemble at church).  Flowers gratefully declined.  Memorials may be made to the Alden Meals on Wheels.  Bob served in the National Guard and was an avid Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and New York Yankees Fan.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
