Townsend-Ronald D. of Alden, NY passed away September 9, 2026.  Beloved husband of 64 years to Charlotte (Carey) Townsend; dear father of Linda (Dave) Pautler, David Townsend and Jill (Paul) Marciniak; loving "Papa Louie" to Joshua Schmidt, Jordan (Trish) Schmidt, Katharine Pautler, Shane Townsend and Cole (Dr. Chandler) Marciniak; great-grandfather to Riley and Haley Schmidt.  No prior visitation.  A Graveside Service will Military Honors will be held at the Cowlesville Cemetery, Lapp Rd.
