Freed-Rosemary C. (nee Jacobsen) of Alden, N.Y. was called home to be with her heavenly Father in the year of Our Lord A.D. 2023 0n Monday the 23rd of October at the age of 87. On Thanksgiving Day in 1956, she was joined in marriage, for 56 years, to her late husband Rev. Wilbur R. Freed. Dear mother of Katherine (Mike) Stewart, Renne' (Mathew) Will and Tammy (James) Fong; grandmother of Benjamin (Alexandra Kimmons) Fong, Kaitlyn Fong, Karen (Chad) Nelson and Samuel Will; great-grandmother of Andrew Nelson; sister of the late Anthony Jacobson Jr.  Family present at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME 13228 Broadway Alden, N.Y. Thursday 4 to 6 P.M. Funeral services to be held at the Town Line Lutheran Church Alden, NY. Friday Oct. 27th. at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in South Scott Cemetery - Angola, Indiana. Mrs. Freed was born in Chicago, she graduated from Lake View High School and received a Bachelors of Education Degree from Chicago Teachers College in 1957.  Rosemary and her husband moved to Alden, NY in May of 1999; she was a member of the Town Line Lutheran Church, the North Darien Bible Church and the Alden Garden Club.
