Kolankowski-Thaddeus M., Sr. "Ted" of Clarence, NY formerly of Alden, NY passed away July 28, 2026.  Beloved husband of 69 years to Mary (nee Walczyk) Kolankowski; dear father of Thaddeus (Denise) Kolankowski Jr., Catherine Kroh, Timothy (Kristen Tjaden)) Kolankowski, Daniel (Dawn) Kolankowski, Cynthia (Rick) Quintanal and John (Denise Orszulak) Kolankowski; also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Monday, August 3rd from 1-3 and 6-8 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church, Alden, NY on Tuesday, August 4th at 10 AM (please assemble at church).  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alden/Marilla Food Pantry.

Ted was a Scout Master with the Bennington Boy Scout Troop 474 and a Commander with the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Erie, PA.  He was instrumental in starting the the Food Pantry in North East, PA and continued to volunteer with the Alden Food Pantry.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Cowlesville Fire Dept.  Share your condolences meyerfuneralhome.com
