Hersee-Thomas J. of Alden, NY passed away July 13, 2024.  Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Willman) Hersee; dear father of Andrew Hersee; brother of Glen, Bob, David and the late Kenny and Joan; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Monday, July 22nd from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at the WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Rd., Corfu, NY on Tuesday, July 23rd at 1 PM. (please assemble at the cemetery office at 12:45).  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to T2T.org. (Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation).  Thomas was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army and received the Bronze Star.  He was an avid sportsman who loved to fish at Black Lake and was also an excellent "chef".  He retired from County Line Stone after 30 years.  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
