Krisher-Vernon W. "Bud", Jr., age 85, of Alden, NY passed away peacefully in Hospice care on the morning of January 17th, 2020.  Vernon grew up in Lyndonville, NY and worked the Krisher farm until he left the area. He proudly served in The United States Army from 1957 - 1959.  After settling in Alden, NY he ran his electrical contracting business, Buddy's Service Company for over 50 years until retirement. No one who met Bud could deny his love for his family, passion for his career or the strength of his faith.  He loved hunting and fishing, and spending time with friends who were dear to his heart. His strong work ethic was unmatched and he instilled this in his children and grandchildren. He had an infectious sense of humor and his day was made if he could make someone smile.   He is survived by his wife of 63 years Faith (Klein) Krisher, daughter Cynthia Sweet, son Thomas (Rachel) Krisher; grandchildren Heather (Salvador) Flores, Jason (Annette) Sweet, Bradley Sweet and Victoria Krisher; great-grandchildren Olivia, Trey, Simon and Brynn.  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm at First Baptist Church of Elma, 1301 Bowen Rd.
