W. Ann Mosman (née Campbell), 92 of Alden, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1933, in Saranac Lake, New York, to the late Kenneth and Leola Campbell (née Pearson).
Ann married Edward G. Mosman in 1953, sharing 71 years of a happy, loving marriage together until his passing on April 5, 2025. They lived together in the home they built in 1960 in Town Line, New York.
Ann was one of 11 children: late-Joseph "Leo" (Lorraine) Campbell, late-Mary "Theresa" Watts, Kenneth "George" (Sandy) Campbell, Elizabeth "Frances" Kowalik, late-Paul "Vernon" (Pin) Campbell, Edna Mae (late-Herman) Baer, Peter (Linda) Campbell, Richard (Betty) Campbell, late-Catherine (Gerry) McDonaugh, Thomas (Lori) Campbell.
Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a warm, loving, generous, and spirited woman. She was the collector of all her family's and friends' special moments in her multitude of photo albums. She was known for her large collections of bells and Campbell memorabilia.
Ann was very community minded, devoting much of her life to serving others. She served as a member of many community organizations alongside her husband. She was a 68-year member of Town Line Volunteer Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary, Bosom Buddies, Meals on Wheels, National Campers and Hikers Association, National Bell Association, Eastern Star, Community Prayer Breakfast, and many, many more.
Ann is survived by her daughter Cindy (late-Vincent) Zarcone; son Jim (Jennifer) Mosman; son Michael Mosman; grandchildren Nicholas (Deimante) Zarcone, Kimberly Hovey, Valerie (Daniel) Berger, Jessica Mosman, and Jocelyn Mosman; great-grandchildren: Kyle, Taylor, Arianna, Madison, Owen, Lucio, and Laken; as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and special godchildren.
She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Ann's life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3-7 p.m. at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway Alden, New York and for the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Saint John the Baptist Church in Alden, New York (please assemble at the Church). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alden's Meals on Wheels, 3311 Wende Road, Alden, NY 14004-9502, or Town Line Volunteer Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary, 6507 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086.
