George-William B. of Marilla, NY passed away March 11, 2025.  Beloved husband of 65 years to Joan (Fontaine) George; dear father of Suzanne (James) McGarvey, Donna (Charles H. Jr.) Mawk and Scott (Betty Jo Becker) George; loving grandfather of Jonathan, Joshua, Phillip, Peter (Rachel), Gabrielle, Ashley (Jake) and Kelsey (Mike); great-grandfather of Lucas, Aldwyn and Wesley; brother of Carol (Jack) Hooven and the late Shirley (Late Bernard) Weatherbee.  Bill is a US Army Veteran, a member of the Marilla Veteran's Club and a lifetime member of the  Marilla Volunteer Fire Co.  Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Sunday, March 16th from 1-5 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's RC Church Alden, NY Monday, March 17th at 10 AM (please assemble at church).  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
