Slomba-William of Bennington, NY passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on March 27, 2024 after a short battle with cancer.  William was born June 24, 1937, in Buffalo, NY to Jozef and Rozalia Slomba (nee Sarama).  In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by his wife Susan Slomba, infant son Keith Slomba, brother John (Sophie) Slomba, Josephine (Andrew) Galuski, Mary Slomba, Helen (Frank) Klima, Bertha (Conrad) Najewski, Lottie (Howard) Atzrott, Irene (Sigmund) Szulewski, Estelle (Walter) Penke, Sophie (Leonard) Skoczylas, Julia (Robert) Giannelli, Ann (Alfred) Stefaniak, infant sister Theresa and Loretta Slomba.

Bill retired from General Motors East Delavan Plant in Buffalo.  He also served in the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.

Bill is survived by his children Wendy (Tim) Murray and Wesley (Evelyn) Scott; his cherished grandsons Keith (Andera) Murray and Kyle Murray, and his cherished great-grandsons Jack and Connor; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family will be present to receive friends at the CHARLES MEYER FUNERAL HOME, 13228 Broadway Alden, NY on Tuesday, April 2nd from 3-7 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Bennington, NY on Wednesday, April 3rd. at 10 AM (please assemble at church).  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to http://give.roswellpark.org/goto/wmurray .  Share your condolences at meyerfuneralhome.com
